Hazards for Spacemen are dangers like the Monster, but also other Spacemen. This works vice versa, if players are playing the monster, which can fake its appearance. Explosions, fire and especially the lack of Oxygen is also an imminent hazard.

Oxygen

Oxygen is a hazard on all maps for spacemen, allowing spacemen to only spend a certain amount of time outside their base before heading back inside, or slowly suffocating and taking damage, the only way to avoid suffocating outside is by going back inside the base before their O2 supply runs out. The spaceman's O2 supply can be increased via the O2 perk or extra oxygen tanks. the monster does not have to worry about O2, since the O2 bar is replaced with a disguise bar instead.

Pifalls/Void/Space

Despite not being able to take any form of fall damage in Unfortunate Spacemen, there are parts of certain maps that if you go info, or fall into, you will die, for example, the ravines in Recruitment or pitfalls in Snow Swept, or all the Space areas in Duress or Echo. This is a hazard that can kill both the spacemen and monster.

Emergency Mass Ejector

The Company trusts that you have enough competence to not walk into the EME yourself. This is a map hazard that can kill both the monster and spacemen. To be killed be an EME, you either walk into the EME or you get shoved into the EME, and as you get sent into the atmosphere, your visor cracks and you instantly die. There will always be 3 EMEs in the map.

Airlocks

Airlocks are a map hazard that can only be found on a few maps, such as H2O or Hyper Train, with the amount of airlocks on a map varying. Airlocks are a hazard to both spacemen and monsters. When an airlock is unarmed, the button and the signal light will be a blue colour, however, if an airlock is armed, then an alert will played, followed by klaxon alarms, and will have an O2 sucking animation. If an explosion (including stun grenades) occurs in the proximity of the airlock, the airlock will activate and suck anything within its area into the void/pitfall. Once an airlock is activated, 3 holographic caution signs will appear as well as a wind noise playing as any players are sucked out. However, like the EME, this can be negated by wearing mag boots, however, the player will be put into a stun locked state, which leaves the player vulnerable to damage. Once a airlock is armed, the player that armed the airlock can no longer gain karma for that round (unless if they are a shapeshifter).

Maps

Tidal Lock - 5 Airlocks

Hyper Train - 3 Airlocks

Echo - 2 Airlocks

Recruitment - 1 Airlock

H2O - 1 Airlock

Duress - 1 Airlock

Drop Bridges

Drop bridges are another map hazard that can only be found on certain maps, such as Duress or Tidal Lock. These bridge can be dropped via a button at one end of the bridge and is a hazard to both the spacemen and the monster. The bridge is divided into 5 portions, and when the button is pressed, each portion will glow red around the edges and 5 jingles will be heard before the bridge drops. If a player is on the bridge when the bridge is dropped, that player gets sent into a pitfall/void that will kill them. If dropping a bridge is the cause of someone's death, you will get the murderer status unless you, or the person you killed, are the monster.

Maps:

Tidal Lock - 4 Drop Bridges

Experiment - 2 Drop Bridges

Duress - 2 Drop Bridges

Doors

Doors are a map hazard that can be found on all maps. Despite doors not being an insta kill hazard, if a door closes while a player is between the doors, they will take 10 damage and can kill people who are on low enough HP. This is a hazard to both the spacemen and the monster. When a door is destroyed, there is a small explosion that also can take away 10 HP (max) from a player/monster, however, a shapeshifter takes less explosion damage while in monster form than a spacemen does.

Generators

Generators are a map hazard that can be found on all maps. The "Do not worship" note on all generators is there for a good reason. Despite not being an instant death, going into the orb within the generator will do 12 dmg at 0 second intervals, meaning that the generator will drain your HP relatively fast. There will always be 2 to 3 generators on each map.

Unique Map Hazards

Duress

Tramways are a unique map hazard that only exist on the map Duress. The Tramway is both a hazard to both the spacemen and the monster, as it is possible to get run over by the trams, which will result in instant death. Falling down on the rails will result in instant death as well.

H2O

In the underwater facility, in the middle, is a large cooling fan that takes up a huge portion of the room. A sample will commonly spawn on the actual fan itself. This map hazard is dangerous to both spacemen and monster. Being shoved/falling into the fan will result in instant death.

Architects

In Architects, there are four tentacles with glowing mouths (portals) that lead to a Crumerian Defense Hive stomach/hive. In the stomach is acidic fluid, possibly stomach acid, which damages player in 12 HP intervals. This hazard damages both spacemen and monster alike.
